Karl Lagerfeld, Creative Director for the couture House of CH*NEL, has produced clothing under his own label for several years. This jacket, done in a navy blue gabardine, is as fresh today as the day it was made. The tailoring is exquisite in this menswear-inspired “boyfriend” style. The front of the jacket has 2 pockets and 3 buttons. The hourglass shape accentuates the waist. There are 4 buttons on each sleeve. The jacket bears the Karl Lagerfeld label and is marked size 38, which usually equates to a
US size 6. There is no fabric composition label but I believe that the fabric is wool gabardine. The color is a true dark navy – almost black. The flash on some of the photos makes the jacket look lighter than it really is. No smells, stains or damage.
