A mint condition example of an old pocket crest for the French Army Commando 13. This was one of the North Vietnam sector commandos. The insignia is not shown in Baltzer & Micheletti’s “French Airborne Troops Wings & Insignia” but is ident No. E-117 in Lafleur and Pugh's “Insignia of the French Commandos - WW2 to Present”. However, NOTE: am informed this is possibly/could be a reproduction and having compared with a confirmed original, this insignia does have variations but also similarities in thread, construction, etc..
