I've been a bass guitarist since before the Beatles were famous and when I found that I couldn't buy high quality speaker cables for my own bass amplifier at a realistic price, I set about making my own.

To get the best from your bass rig you need the lowest possible resistance between your amp and the speaker cabinet.  This increases the damping factor and allows the amp to have better control of the speaker.  The result is a clearer and better defined response.
