Vintage MINTON Symphony in Blue #S-557 Teacup, Saucer, Cake & Bread Plate Lot

Vintage English Minton bone china "Symphony" in blue, pattern #S-557 LOT

We are very pleased to be able to offer this Vintage Minton bone china "Symphony" in blue, pattern #S557 Lot

This LOT includes Twelve teacups, Ten tea cup saucers, Ten bread plates, One rare Square Cake plate, and One creamer.

The teacup saucers are a deeper dish style and are 5 5/8 inch in diameter. The Bread plates are 6 1/4 inches in diameter. The square cake plate is 9 7/8 inches wide on the side with handles, by 8 1/2 inches. The creamer is 5 3/8 inches from handle to spout, and 3 5/16 inches deep, and 3 3/8 inches tall. All the pieces in this lot carry the Minton makers mark, and most are stamped under the glaze with the words "MINTON CHINA" over the numbers "X- 58, or 59" X = The # 1, 5, 8, some of the stamps are difficult to make out.

Condition- All of the pieces in this lot are in excellent "Like New" condition. There are no cracks, chips, crazing, or abrasions. Some of the pieces were still in their original cellophane wraps. The gold lustre edge trim and accents are in excellent condition as well, showing no signs of wear, or thinning.

This is the perfect replacement lot for an existing tea service, or it could be the perfect opportunity to start a collection of the Minton Symphony in blue pattern. And there are some rare pieces in this lot.
