Crepe Hair
Crepe Hair is used by Professional Makeup Artists throughout the entertainment world to create wigs, beards, mustaches, or sideburns on performers. Mehron brand Crepe Hair comes in tightly woven braids of wool in 12" lengths. Different colors are manufactured in different ways and can result in a weight change. This can also effect the thickness of the hair as well. This is why the Crepe Hair is not sold per weight, but usually by length.

Professionals use Spirit Gum or Liquid Latex when applying Crepe Hair to create their characters. Liquid Makeup or Hair White are used to color Crepe Hair if a special color, hue, or shade is needed for a particular character. A mix of colors will make the most natural look.
