This is the most unusual pin in my collection of vintage Mexican jewelry. It is marked on the back HECHO EN MEXICO.  The upper layer of the bird is polished set against a duller background. It is not marked sterling but tested positive and has an eagle mark but the pin catch obscures the number inside the eagle.  It is  1 1/2" high by app. 13/16" wide.
