This GM auxiliary audio input kit provides the ability to connect an audio device to your radio and listen to it in your vehicle. Use it to connect an iPod, Zune or any other mp3 player to your factory radio. It comes with standard stereo RCA connections. We include an RCA to stereo mini (3.5mm headphone) adapter cable so you can connect virtually any audio device. If you're connecting an iPod, you can add the IS76 from our store and get a 30-pin iPod connection, as well as charging capability.

This kit is also compatible with the XMD1000 XM tuner (not included.) If you were to purchase that tuner, you could connect it and get XM radio in vehicles on the Application List. However, this would be in lieu of using it as an auxiliary audio input. (Unless you put in some sort of splitter and a switch. We don't carry those items and cannot provide any advice on installing or using them.) If you have additional questions on XM capability, we recommend you research 'Terk XMDGMK' on the internet. Once connected, you will be able to control the volume only. No device controls are enabled with auxiliary inputs. If you want something with text, charging and/or control you need to be in one of our interface categories.
