QUALITY VINTAGE ROYAL WINTON
PETUNIA SALT & PEPPER CRUET SET

Presenting an exquisite porcelain salt & pepper cruet set
in the highly appealing pink Petunia pattern produced by
the quality English makers, Royal Winton circa 1950s.

This delightful three piece set comprises salt and pepper
shakers on their original tray which is embellished with a beautifully
rendered Petunia flower. The flower and foliage has been expertly
hand painted in appealing tones of pink, fresh green and yellow. Each
of the elegantly shaped salt and pepper shakers and the body of the dish
has been finished in a stunning pastel pink glaze with exquisite glistening
gilt gold lavishly trimming the rim of the dish and the top of each shaker.

This superb set are presented in excellent vintage condition with no chips,
cracks or repairs. There is exceptionally light surface crazing as is to be
expected with pieces of this vintage but mentioned for complete accuracy.
The gilt gold trims are in fine condition and there are no marks or stains.
This fine set has been very well cared for and presents spectacularly.

The holes in the base have been taped over, as the original cork stoppers have
been lost, although it does appear one of the stoppers is inside one of the shakers.

Each shaker stands approx 70mms tall and the dish
measures 135mms in length x 80mms in width.

This dish is beautifully marked to the base with a black stamp reading "Royal
Winton Grimwades Made in England" along with the pattern name and Aus. Rd
number stamped in gold. The bases of the shakers are stamped "Made in England".
