It is signed & dated 1879

 The sampler measures approx 14 3/4 inches (375mm) tall, by 12 inches (300mm) wide, and is unmounted.

It is in good original condition with very light wear consistent with its great age, but no major damage or repairs

It worked in nice, bold colours and is signed and dated by the maker
