this lens is a PENTACON G.D.R. 35mm system lens.
this lens covers SLR 35mm format, so it will cover 35mm film format too.

CONVERSION INCLUDES:
solid duraluminium cine PL mount instead of genuine P.Six mount;
de-clicked, smooth and quiet aperture control (so it works like in PRO cine lenses);
detachable 2x teleconverter that changes it's focal length from 500mm f/5.6 to 1000mm f/11

ITEM CONDITION:

OPTICALLY: EXCELLENT
[there's NO deep scratches, deep 'cleaning marks' or cracks on glasses; there's NO fungus, fog, separations or other damages inside optical construction; lens has some MICRO 'cleaning marks' on front glass, but nothing to worry about, because if You know Pentacon lenses You know their MC's are very soft; under rear glass few MICRO 'cleaning marks' (they can be also MICRO hairs/dust pieces - it's really hard to say); few MICRO marks/spots on glasses MC's; some MICRO pieces of dust inside (most under rear glass, so it can be easly cleaned); teleconverter without deep scratches, but it has some 'cleaning marks' on rear lens MC's; there's also few MICRO marks/spots on glasses MC's and some MICRO dust inside; we've checked this lens with our Sony F3 camcorder and it gives EXCELLENT optical quality and with teleconverter it is great for ultra tele shots, because it doubles it's focal lenght to 1000mm]
MECHANICALLY: EXCELLENT+
[aperture and focus rings works smooth, fine, without any problems (please, notice, that focus ring in old, big, vintage lenses work smooth, but a BIT harder than in current produced lenses); there's backlash in the middle (somewhere near tripod ring mount, so when You focus You can minimally feel it); aperture works fine and stops up to f/22 without any problems; aperture blades are clean and clear, with minimal oil on it, so as it should be; teleconverter open/closes rings works fine; detachable inside glass can be removed without any problems]
VISUALLY: EXCELLENT+
[there's some LIGHT marks on lens and teleconverter bodies; they have some scratches, paint missings, etc. - all You can see on real pictures (most on tripod mount ring); there's NO serious damages, dents, cracks, etc.; for me this set is in EXCELLENT to EXCELLENT+ visual condition for it's age]

This lens has standard focal lenght 500mm with f/5.6, but adding 2x teleconverter it will have 1000mm with f/11. You can also use teleconverter as a macro extension tube, because optics can be removed(!), so You have massive macro lens too. Very nice set for filmmaking.
