This pretty in white sheer acetate style dress, hails from the 1950s era. It has been lovingly handmade to a good standard. It has a scalloped shaped collar, with a cotton lace trim, this can also be seen around the waist and sleeve endings, fashioned it to bows at the ends. The dress features bust darts, and a long, wide belt ties, which can be fashioned into a large bow at the back. There are four unfastening buttons on the reverse, with a popper fastening at the back neckline.

The only faults I can find are 3-4 tiny marks, dotted around the skirt. The skirt is very full, so the marks hardly notice, plus with the dress being white, it would be very rare to find a perfectly clean, pure white dress, which has been worn by a child over 65 years ago!.

I'm not too sure of the material, but it is semi sheer, and rustles when you walk. I have put it down as acetate, but it could be another type of fabric.
