Up for auction is a very nice Waltham Vanguard 23 jewel 16 size adjusted pocket watch out of an estate The lever set movement is marked: Vanguard Waltham U.S.A. 6 Positions 31328328. The movement dates to 1942 according to the serial number. The dial is marked: Waltham Vanguard 23 Jewels. The dial is in good condition, see photos. The inside of the case back is marked: Waltham Premier Keystone J.Boss 10K Gold Filled AG 9236013. The crown and case have wear-through, and there are light scratches all over it. The pocketwatch will currently set/wind properly, and run for a short time when wound. This is a great find out of an estate! See photos for condition please! Don't pass it up!
