Fitting: The holes in side of the guards are for the fitting screws. These are stainless steel screws (supplied) and are screwed through the side of the vehicles guard. Important Note: You do NOT use the factory holes in the vehicle. You will need to drill new holes in the side of the guard.
When you hold this flare up against your truck you may think that it isn't the correct shape due to some gaps in places but they will be right. These flares require to be trimmed slightly with sharp scissors or shears to eliminate the gap, then put the rubber trim around the inside edge, screw on and they will form to fit the guard near perfectly. They are moulded as close to a perfect fit as we can get without the vehicle being present, this simple trim prior to fitting is all it needs for a professional fit. They are made from a thin material so that they have enough flex in them to do this.
I'm not trying to make it sound difficult but some people look at the picture and think they are getting a solid flare that is identical in shape to their guard but this is practically impossible. The results in the photo's speak for themselves.
