What does the Speed Simulator do ?

It checks the K factor setting of the tachograph

Checks the operating speed of the road speed limiter via the tachograph

Calculates the DIL  switch settings of the tachograph for any valid k factor

reads diagnostic trouble codes for the Stoneridge 2400 and Kienzle 1324 tachographs

interrogates the Stoneridge 2400 and kienzle 1324 tachographs to determine serial number , odometer setting , clock setting , etc

Which tachographs can the Speed Simulator be used ?

The Simulator can be used with the Veeder root 8400 , the Stoneridge 2400 and the Kienzle 1314 , 1318 , 1319 , and 1324 tachographs

 Npote that on certain vehicles the speed limiter is unable to be checked due to spurious signal paths and BAS sensed speed signals

The simulator is powered with an internal battery , the battery is recharged using the charger supplied
