Mabuhay Gardens was basically the CBGB's of the west coast, hosting early New Wave, Punk, Glam and Powerpop groups in the late 1970's. These come from a major collection including many of the prime pieces from 1977-1979....Not reproductions. These original concert flyers and handbills were printed for advertisement only. These are the actual items which let the folks on the street know what was happening prior to the event. Historical documents if you will. Almost all of this type of material was posted around town, then later discarded.
