Payment by Paypal only please. It is very quick and easy and also gives you, the buyer, peace of mind through its payment protection plan.
Orders will be dispatched within 48 hours after payment has been received, although I do not post at weekends or UK Public Holidays. If you require the item quicker please contact me as I may be able to offer an express service.
Orders for the UK will be shipped using Royal Mail 2nd Class Delivery or similar courier for bulky items, obtaining a proof of delivery certificate. International orders will be shipped using an appropriate equivalent service.
All my items are vintage and/or pre-owned and therefore may show signs of wear, If this is not suitable, please do not buy and be disappointed that some items may not be of factory standard. I try to describe to the best of my abilty, I do sometimes make mistakes and this is not intentional. If you do see an error in my listing please contact me and I'll amend it.
My packing materials are very important to me: I have spent many years perfecting the fine art of packing! Over the years I have found newspaper & cardboard to be the best packing material by a long way - it is readily available, easy to dispose of and a very effective shock absorber and perfect for transporting china - safe, secure and easily recyclable!
I do everything I can to minimise my environmental impact - it is something I am passionate about, as my whole business is built on recycling tableware. As well as re-using boxes sent to me I re-use any newspaper, bubble wrap and polystyrene chips that I can obtain. This isn't always the prettiest means of transporting my china, but I have found it to be the most environmentally responsible and secure means of getting your delicate china to you in one piece.
