KWB brand, made in West Germany, brand new in original retail packaging.  See our other listings for backing pads to fit Bosch PEX270 and GEX models.  PLEASE NOTE THAT BOSCH MODIFIED THE PEX400AE IN MAY 2011 AND THE LATER ONES TAKE A DIFFERENT BACKING PAD- see our other listings.  This one (viewed from the machine i.e. non-velcro side) has 3 fixing holes in a triangle round a central hole:- the new type PEX400 has 4 holes in a square and the pad is black and white, not pure black.
