This is a very early Montblanc fountain pen. It is a black 149, with 2-tone silver & gold cap bands. The pen has the metal filling mechanism. The filler seems to be working, but it has not been serviced in many years, so I will not guarantee it. The barrel has the celluloid visible ink portion near the threads. The nib is 2-tone 14K gold. It has a very fine tip. The pen is marked “EF” and "149 lightly on the side of the barrel knob. The pen has no cracks, damage, or engraving on the cap or barrel. There are some light teeth marks on the ends of the pen. The clip is missing, but the rest of the trim is very good. So just a clip, and a little cleaning up and you will have an excellent early pen for your collection. Buyer pays shipping, $12 in USA.
