Chinese Early 19th Century Brown Tea Dust Glaze Medallion Decorated Porcelain Bowl


This is a high quality piece with thin walls and wonderful artistic panels. The bowl is glazed in a light brown tea dust form. The exterior is decorated in a horizontal fine line pattern. The exterior has three molded medallion decoration featuring trees. One medallion is bamboo, another is a pine tree and the third is a flowering bush. Great firing bubbling in the glaze. Nice glaze goxidation. A great high end artistic creation from the early 19th century, Qing Dynasty.


This bowl is in great condition for its age. Its lack of wear indicates its value as an artistic piece. The foot has worn from being moved during cleaning. No chips, cracks or hairlines. 


This piece is notable for its fine glaze, thin walls and decorative medallions, all signs of a high quality piece. True old tea dust pieces are difficult to find.
