The HAP Hair Removal System is designed for home use - utilising advanced technology similar to professional electrolysis treatment. This product is designed to help prevent unwanted hair growing again, and is not an instand 'plucking' device. Some patience is required whilst getting used to this product, but will be rewarded with long-lasting results.
The HAP Hair Removal System is designed to eliminate unwanted hair by a similar method to professional electrolysis treatment - but there are no needles to cause discomfort or pain. The HAP can be easily used in the privacy of your own home and without costly or inconvenient visits to the beauty salon. As you become more confident in using the HAP you will gradually be able to stop the regular use of other (temporary) hair removal methods, such as shaving, waxing, bleaching and plucking.
To understand how the HAP Hair Removal System works you first need to understand how hair grows. Hair grows by forming new cells at the base of the root. As these new cells form around the papilla (which nourishes them), the old cells are pushed away and die. The new cells gradually force a rod of dead cells up through the follicle. The old cells from the root actually become part of the hair shaft. Usually only one hair grows from each follicle. Hair continues to grow as long as the papilla provides nourishment for new cells. It takes 8 - 13 weeks for a hair to grow from the root t outer skin (hair cycle).
The HAP emits from the Tweezer tips Radio Frequency in the form of dry energy. When the Tweezers grip a hair, this energy is transmitted down the hair to the root and the papilla. This will stop the hair growth cycle, and eventually stop new hairs forming.
