Lumen values ​​indicate the total amount of produced or emerging light. It is difficult measurable and verifiable, and remains totally disregarded where the light shines.

Our chart shows the brightness of the brightest beam of light cone according to the standard distance of 10 m. This illuminance (lux) is easy to measure, but says nothing about the size of the illuminated surface. In similar (good) distributed light cones it is a good comparison value.

So you can see far, the maximum illuminance must be at the upper edge of the light cone. In low visibility conditions (rain, blinding oncoming traffic) is particularly important high illuminance.

Edelux II ensures mechanical durability of a solid aluminum body, waterproof completed by a scratch-resistant, anti-reflective glass. The magnetic control ring allows for convenient switching, even with gloves on. To connect to the hub dynamo, the proven SON coaxial cable is used.
The LED sits on a copper heat sink, which is bolted directly to the headlight housing. This perfect cooling is a prerequisite for high efficiency and long life.
