Lovely set of six vintage Art Deco French Kitchen canisters. Purchased by me in Normandy, France. Great to find the full set of six as usually one or more is missing. The set comprises of (from the largest to the smallest)

Farine (flour) 5.25" x 3.75" x 7.25" high

(13.5 x9.5 x 18.5cm)

Sucre (sugar) 4.75" x 3" x 6.5"

(12 x 7.5 x 16.5cm)

Cafe (coffee) 3.75" x 2.75" x 5.5"

(9.5 x 7 x 14cm)

The (tea) 3.5" x 2.25" x 4.75"

(9 x 5.75 x 12cm)

Epices (spices) 2.5" x 2" x 4"

(6.5 x 5 x 10cm)

Poivre (pepper) 2.25" x 1.75" x 3.5" (

(6 x 4.5 x 9cm)

These are in extremely good vintage condition, however, please be aware they are around 65 years or more old and they have been used. This is part of their charm, they are authentic. The gilding is worn on all the lids where they have been taken off and on over the years. The gilding to the main bodies of the canisters is overall very good indeed. There is a mark to the side of the Sucre pot which may be a hairline crack to the glaze, or may be just a mark as there is nothing showing on the inside of the pot. Very minor flaws which are mentioned for 100% accuracy. Please view the pics and decide for yourself. Any questions, don't hesitate to ask and please remember, these are the real deal and not repro's.

Finally, a word about P&P. I sell antique and vintage items which are not easily replaced. I pack very well (check FB) and, as I am not a charity, I do include a SMALL sum in the shipping charges to cover the bubble wrap, especially the extra large size. My aim is for your item to reach you intact. I re-use boxes wherever I can to minimise the environmental impact. If you are not happy with any of this then please do not bid.
