This beautiful, gold washed, sterling silver, enamel bracelet was made by the celebrated Norwegian silversmith, Aksel Holmsen under his older mark Norne.

This elegant Art Deco bracelet measures 17.7cms (7") long. It is 1.2cms wide.

It consists of four snowy white, enamel panels alternating with four scenic panels. The white panels have a delicate four leaf design beneath the enamel. At each side is a contrasting black enamel insert which is also present on the scenic panels. Each scene is painted on a partially textured background which gives great shimmer to the sky. The Norwegian scenes are exquisitely painted against the background of the midnight sun. There are a viking ship, an elk gazing over the fiord, an elk pulling a sled over the snow and a fine seascape against the black rocks of Nordcap.

The bracelet fastens with a push in clasp which is fully secure. There is an additional safety device. The back of the clasp is inscribed 925S Norne in script with an N in a square for Norway.

It is in excellent vintage condition.

This delightful bracelet would make a perfect gift! It comes to you tissue wrapped in a gift box ready to give or to keep.
