The egg measures 3 1/4" tall and 2 1/4" wide at the widest point, The stand is 1 1/2" tall.

Condition - Overall condition is excellent. All of the malachite pieces are present, although one has a very fine crack in it. The enamel on the butterfly and the velvet are both in wonderful shape. The stand has minor wear. Because the surface is glossy, you might see light reflected, appearing as white or blue spots.  Please don't confuse this with loss or damage.  The egg would have come with a small bee pin, but that is not included.

The egg is marked 634 in a limited edition of 750. It also has sterling hallmarks and the stand is marked Sterling.

RETURN POLICY We carefully inspect all merchandise multiple times before shipping it out to our customers. Therefore it is our expectation that the merchandise will match our descriptions and customers will be satisfied with their purchase. If for ANY reason, you are unhappy with your purchase, we have a no hassle return policy. You may return your item, no questions asked, for a full refund.  However, we will not provide partial refunds and allow you to keep the merchandise. If you have any questions about our return policy, feel free to ask.

SHIPPING COSTS; Your postage charge is based on what the USPS charges us on both foreign and domestic packages.  We do add a $2.00 handling fee to help defer packing costs

COMBINED SHIPPING; If you are buying more than one item (or even several of the same items), please contact us BEFORE paying. To get the most economical shipping rate, request a combined shipping invoice directly from us. The Ebay system does not handle all the complexities of combined shipping and may overcharge you. So, if you are ready to purchase, put your items in the Ebay shopping cart and use the option “request total from seller.” If you would like a combined shipping quote, please email us and include your zip code.

Your order is being shipped from the EAST COAST.  When buying multiple items, if you live on the WEST COAST or even the MIDWEST, we may decide to ship your order USPS PARCEL POST rather than USPS PRIORITY MAIL. Priority mail can be prohibitively expensive for large boxes traveling long distances. So if you are in a hurry for your order to arrive, please notify us immediately after purchase or preferably before purchase.  Unless we hear from you, we will assume you are OK with the switch to parcel post to save you your shipping costs.

INSURANCE; All Ebay sales are covered by the Ebay Buyer Protection Program. Therefore, we do not recommend the purchase of separate postal insurance. If you decide you wish to purchase postal insurance anyway, please understand that there will be an additional charge. We charge standard USPS rates and use a private insurer called Endicia because of past difficulties collecting on claims with the USPS.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS; We are very appreciative of our international customers.  However, please be aware that we will NOT falsify customs forms by stating that your purchase is a gift or by understating its’ value.  Please expect to have to pay customs charges and any related fees.  These fees are determined by your country's government.  We do not know the customs charges in your country and are in no way responsible for them.   Additionally, packages can be held up in customs and take longer than expected for arrival.  Unfortunately, we have no control over that. If you are purchasing an antique item and want us to include that fact in the customs documentation, please email us that request.
