Tony Dixon has been making flutes, pipes and whistles in Devon, England for many years. An accomplished player of all three instruments, he doesn't let an instrument out of his workshop that he wouldn't be happy to play himself.

He started making instruments from traditional woods such as box, maple and cherry.  However Tony has always been ready to experiment with new materials. This has led to his very popular popular range of polymer, ABS and Aluminium whistles.

The DX003 Low-D (tenor) whistle is constructed from a very robust and rigid polymer. Polymer is a type of high-tech plastic which resists the effects of moisture, both from the atmosphere and from the breath, and is highly tolerant of temperature changes and knocks in transit, making this instrument ideal for beginners and professionals alike. This new improved version of the best-selling DX003 now features a conical bore (Please note whistle pictured is the original parallel bore model, the new version does not have the cream trim)

 The result is a truly professional, great-sounding instrument which will provide many years of playing, at a very affordable price.  Supplied complete with rigid plastic storage/transit case.
