Small Antique Hanging Medicine Cabinet Beveled Glass Door, Brass Embellishments

 Here is a super nice hanging cabinet, great for kitchen or bathroom, medicine OR SPICES!! Very unusual with it's unique brass embellishments. Even the brass hangers at the top for hanging it on the wall, match the brass floral decorations on the door. The wood looks like walnut to me and could easily be stained to blend with oak, mahogany or cherry. It has one shelf inside. It has a key and it does work the lock, but since the door has shrunk a bit with age, if you lock it and pull hard on the door it will open. You could remedy the problem by moving the keeper, so the latch can get a stronger hold. Please review the photos, as always they are the best description. Nice beveled glass pane in the door. The size is about 24 1/4" total height, not counting the brass hangers. 11 3/4" wide, 7 1/4" deep. It has the fancy top and bottom that adds to the size. The actual door size is about 10" by 10". We apologize for the shipping cost. The Post Office has been BRUTAL lately so we are having to do OVERKILL packaging to prevent destruction.

A word about shipping: shipping involves a lot more than postage or UPS charges. We have labels, boxes, packing materials and a "longer than most" trip to the Post Office or UPS. We are very rural and the post office and UPS will not pick up our packages. So we have 10 miles every shipping day and if a buyer pays, we ship IMMEDIATELY, even if their package is the ONLY one to be shipped. We do not over charge for shipping, but sometimes if you are a lot closer than we estimated your shipping expense may be less. Please ask if you think the shipping shown in the auction is too much based on your location, and we will give you an individualized quote. If you live close by you can even pick up!
