Back in 1995 a short print run of my first book on football grounds covering my home county of Kent quickly sold out. A revised edition was published in 1998 but again has been out of print for a number of years. Both are now highly collectable.

This book explores the current and lost grounds of the four boroughs which make up South East London - Bromley, Bexley, The Royal Borough of Greenwich and Lewisham.

South East London boasts an incredible footballing history which is often overlooked. The area is home to the second oldest football club in Cray Wanderers. Woolwich Arsenal brought top-flight football to Plumstead and the FA Cup Final was played for twenty years at The Crystal Palace. For just five years Catford had a velodrome and hosted a Casuals football match.

This book records through photographs, maps and drawings the visual history of past and present grounds from massive stadia to simple playing fields, each with their own unique character.

The book is printed as a paperback in colour with some b/w images on quality gloss paper with a full colour cover. The book runs to 100 pages, features 72 grounds with over 225 photos.

Cover price £12.95, on offer at £9.95 with free postage. Buy now not 'watch'! These ten copies are offered alongside our other books, also on ebay, including The Football Grounds of the Early 1900s. Buy the pair maybe?
