For sale, a BEAUTIFUL (MOST ARE DUG AND UGLY)  and A TOKEN YOU JUST DO NOT SEE TOO OFTEN (TOUGHER TO FIND, BOOKS HIGHER IN ARIZONA TOKEN BOOK) merchant "good for" token, once "GOOD FOR 25C IN TRADE" at a business called "THE ST. FRANCIS CIGAR STAND" (old cigar tobacco business) located in historic old downtown mining camp of OATMAN, ARIZONA

this is a token you might see once in awhile, but as many Arizona mining camp token collectors know…….most are in "dug" pitted condition.....love this old west mining camp

(been auctioning off a little collection of old OATMAN tokens bought years ago…this one is really nice) This is tougher to find quarter denomination

The old mining camp of Oatman is located on old ROUTE 66 located in the Black Mountains in Mohave County, not far from towns of Fort Mohave and Laughlin Nevada not far from Colorado River. Historic mining town produced over $10 million in gold, and a must see with wild burros wandering the streets even today

The Arizona token book lists this token under OATMAN, and this is scarce token, especially given the condition…what a beauty

Just trying to find these old Oatman tokens is tough today…the last 3 times I have been to Oatman, there isn't a token for sale in this town…a very desirable western mining camp…amazing bit of history to read about "Olive Oatman"…which this mining camp's name was derived.

Trade token is brass, scalloped, about 27mm  in size, and overall it displays very nicely. (please see pictures in gallery) Token has strong details, and has a little discoloration …neat token THIS WOULD BE A CONDITION UPGRADE FOR COLLECTIONS, A NICE SPECIMEN

Gallery pictures should show you all you need to know. FIRST TIME ON EBAY AS "BUY IT NOW" LOT, AND ONLY ONE I HAVE TO OFFER

TOUGHER MERCHANT VARIETY TO FIND, 25C BRASS SCALLOPED VARIETY TOKEN old good for trade token once used  in trade at "THE ST. FRANCIS CIGAR STAND" in historic ROUTE 66 MINING CAMP old downtown OATMAN, ARIZONA

Thanks so much for looking....collect and invest in history!!!!!   Tangible assets are always the best ones.
