This is a very pretty Dresden hand painted and gilt Art Nouveau beauty or maiden portrait vase made by Richard Klemm. The vase is 8 1/4" high and 3 3/4" in diameter. It has a green background and floral and daisy gilt accents. There are 2 very small spots of raised gold missing, a small painted over bite/chip on the top outside edge and an interior hairline crack. This crack is very difficult to see on the outside without magnification. We have included photos. There are no other chips, cracks or losses and this piece displays beautifully. It is marked with the Richard Klemm Dresden Germany mark used ca 1891 to 1914.
