We can only ship plants within the EU.

Now for the interesting bit:

This is an evergreen, singled stemmed palm that is native to the W & C Mediterranean. It produces a large, rounded mass of linear, bright green leaves. In Summer, mature plants can bear inconspicuous, highly scented, yellow flower panicles. Position in partial shade and keep in a sheltered spot – tender in frost. Requires acidic to neutral, loamy, well-drained soil.

Ultimate height: 2.5 metres

Ultimate spread: 1-1.5 metres

This plant will take approx. 20-50 years to achieve its ultimate height.

Sent as young plant in a 9cm pot.

Dull bit next that rambles on but has to be done.

The nursery is not at the same site as our office and is not a retail nursery so sorry but we do not allow collections or visits under any circumstances. We would like to open the nursery for visits as it would greatly increase turnover but the terms of our lease prohibit us from doing so.

If your order arrives and there is a problem with it or it is damaged then please speak to us first before leaving bad feedback. If your complaint is sent in a polite and sensible manner then you may be surprised how much we will bend over backwards for you. After all its you that keeps us in business and we want you to come back.

Please treat our staff in the manner you would like to be treated. Hi or hello at the beginning of a message with a thank you of some description at the end goes a long way. You may be sending your message through a computer but it is a human being that receives, deals with and replies to it..

Plant complaints: We do not usually get many but obviously as every one does we do get them from time to time so to reduce them please be aware that; some plants sent in late summer into autumn will often have yellow or tatty foliage as many are deciduous and will be dying back for their winter dormancy. Some plants may arrive as bare stems or little leaf, this usually occurs during the winter as the plants are dormant but it can happen during the growing season as we regularly have to hard prune through the season. If we do not the plants just get tall and leggy as they are grown in close proximity to each other and from time to time we have to cut back to encourage new bushier growth at the base which usually only takes a week or so. If you receive a pot that looks empty then it will mean the plant is a perennial and is dormant. This usually occurs with most plants in winter but some species do go into dormancy in summer. If plants have arrived in poor condition through transit delays or miss-handling we ask you to allow two weeks for the plants to start to recover, if they do not recover and show signs of fresh new growth within that time then please email us with a photo and we will happily send replacements.

All the plants we list are in stock but often at different stages of propagation or cultivation. On rare occasions we may run out between batches of stock on some plants and we will inform you and refund as soon as we notice. This may not be until we go to pack your order which can be up to 5 days after you place your order. With thousands upon thousands of plants growing at the two sites at any one time we cannot keep an eye on all stocks all the time (its impossible) so we do not expect that horrible, nasty old negative feedback if we run out between a batch and have to refund you.
