Thanks for viewing this used K. B. Canham MQC57 in excellent condition. We appreciate your interest in our products. The MQC57 is a 5x7 all metal field camera and is similar in all respects to the DLC45 camera but for the dimensions and film format. (4x5 format reducing backs are available though not a part of this sale.) Fully functional and in great cosmetic condition this MQC57 is ready for action. The MQC57 has a rigid machined aluminum frame with dark anodized finish. Washers are made of delrin or stainless steel, depending on their function. The bellows is a light-tight black fabric and the metal base carries both 1/4” and 3/8” tripod mounts. All levers and knobs are metal. Swing movements on front or rear standards is limited only by the bellows and the back is easily rotated from horizontal to vertical positions. A Fresnel screen is installed and the camera ships with a lensboard drilled for your Copal shutter (0, 1 or 3) and an acrylic ground glass protector. It’s packaged in the original Canham Large Format Camera Case.
Cosmetically the camera is clean with signs of normal use. A new K. B. Canham MQC57 sells for $3130 at online retailers and does not include a lensboard, a $50 value. This MQC57 is used, in great condition and sells for a LOT less money. If you’ve been dreaming of a Canham 5x7 this is the one you’ve been dreaming about. What are you waiting for???
