For sale, a BEAUTIFUL, AND ORIGINAL OWNER THOUGHT TOUGHER TO FIND TEXAS TOWN  "good for" trade token once used "GOOD FOR 5C IN MDSE" at a business run by a proprietor named "STAR GROCERY CO, DRY GOODS & GROCERIES" in the town of  SHINER, TEXAS

This is a nice natural patina token, RECENTLY SOLD THE 10c VARIETY...OFFERED HERE IS THE 5C VARIETY, FROM SAME COLLECTION

The  town of SHINER is located in Lavaca county, sort of in the southeast corner of state.

This came out of a small collection of Texas and New Mexico trade tokens bought back in 1990s, watch for future listings. (I do not own any of the old texas books, so have no clue about this token)

Trade token is brass metal, round ,  about 19mm  in diameter , and it has strong details. (please see pictures in gallery) Uncleaned, natural patina intact.
