What an interesting old Italian Miraculous Medal! On the front of the medal, is a raised image of Our Lady in the traditional pose standing with her arms outstretched with rays of grace. The words " O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee" are inscribed around the image. There is a double row of beading with a black background along the edge of the medal that creates a lovely border. On the reverse side, are the traditional Miraculous Medal markings. There is the hallmark "Italy". The silver alloy medal is a classic oval shape and measures a little more than 7/8"H and a little more than 5/8" at the widest part. It is in mint vintage condition. It is new old stock and has been safely stored. |
