Up for auction is a nice original copy of the Sonny Rollins album "Sonny Rollins Brass/Sonny Rollins Trio" originally released in the U.S. on Verve Records (V6-8430) in 1962.

-Nice early '60s stereo pressing
-Correct black & silver labels
-Original paste-down laminated cover
-Original Verve inner sleeve
-No UPC/bar code on cover
-From my personal collection

Condition:
The cover is in very nice condition with no significant signs of wear or age.  Lamination retains its original glossy shine with only a hint of rub.  Seams are strong, no splits, no cracks.  Corners are nice and sharp.  Back is bone white, no age discoloration or ring wear.  Overall, a very attractive cover still, well-preserved.  Grade: Near Mint (NM).

The vinyl is in beautiful condition, still retains its original high gloss shine and luster.  Clean surfaces generally--does have some very light, superficial hairlines probably from taking the record out of the paper inner sleeve, but which do not affect the quality of the playback, nor can they be felt.  Labels are clean.  Looks like it's been played a few times, but very well cared for.

Play Tested: the sound quality is excellent, very clean and clear.  Grade the vinyl as Excellent Minus (EX-).
