This is a lovely vintage camisole and waist slip set by Sears.
 

 

It is made from soft, smooth bias-cut satin, with a luxury feel and the faintest whispery swish. The fabric is pale pink with a charming lily of the valley print (see close-ups!) and dainty lace trims.
 

 

The slip has a neat, double-fanned waistband and the hemline is curved, rising at each side and trimmed with two tiny pink bows and scalloped lace around the hem.


The matching camisole is classically styled, with a gentle 'V' neckline edged in lace, a tiny bow and adjustable pink ribbon shoulder straps. It flares gently down to a lace-trimmed hem which is curved to echo the lines of the slip.

 

Size notes: the camisole is labelled 32 and fits 30-32" bust or a smaller 34". It is 23" from shoulder to hem with adjustable straps. The slip is labelled Medium but I'd say it's more of a Small! The waistband stretches from 23-30", the hips are about 38" and the length is 25", a little less at the sides.
 

The slip set is 'new' old stock and in excellent condition, with crisp, original inner labels, and it has been laundered for freshness. There are a couple of age marks on the shoulder straps (from a rusty metal hanger, perhaps?) but otherwise it looks brand new!
 

 

A top-quality cami and slip set in deliciously soft pink satin - stylish, elegant and extremely desirable! Highly recommended.
