The Bhangi Misl (Punjabi: ਭੰਗੀ ਮਿਸਲ (Gurmukhi), بھنگی مثل (Shahmukhi)) was a large Sikh Misl led by Dhillon Jats headquartered in a village near Amritsar. It was founded in the early 18th century by Sardar Chhajja Singh, who was baptised by Baba Banda Singh Bahadur. The misl received its name "Bhangi" because Chhajja Singh and his soldiers were addicted to an intoxicant herb Bhang (drink made from cannabis sativa). After Sardar Chhajja Singh's death, the Bhangi misl was succeeded by Bhuma Singh Dhillon.

It grew in strength and territory to cover an area from Attock to Multan and emerged as the strongest power in the western Punjab region. However, deaths among the leadership during the late 1760s reduced the Misl's power.

Bhangi Misl held the possession of Zamzama, the famous cannon, which was at the time named Bhangi Toap, Bhangianwala Toap and Bhangian di Top, names it retains to this day while on display in front of the Punjab Museum, Lahore, Pakistan.

The Bhangi misl engaged in numerous power struggles with the Sukerchakia Misl until they were severely weakened at the Battle of Basin and the loss of Lahore to Ranjit Singh.

Serious Inquiries Only. Price is FIRM, do NOT contact me with offers. Will only ship it within the Continental United States. NO shipping to Canada either, but can personally deliver upon request.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Lifetime Authenticity Guarantee:

All item(s) I sell are guaranteed to be Authentic. I follow the American Numismatic Association (ANA) Dealer’s Code of Ethics. If you ever find any of my item(s) questionable by a verifiable source and certified as such, you can return the item back to me for a full refund, even after the eBay return period is over. In that case, I’ll even pay for the return shipping + tracking expense associated with the item.

Sometimes imitations are worth more than the actual issue(the coin being imitated). Take Kushan and early Schythian imitations for example. If the item I am selling is an imitation, it will be clear in the title.

Pictures:

All pictures are taken under natural light and are not retouched. The item(s) you see in the picture is what you'll get.

Research:

This is what I live for. Every day I thank the works of Michael Mitchner, Stephen Album, Hans Herrli, Stan Goron, David Sellwood, Robert Senior, Osmund Bopearachchi, Jan Lingen, Zeno.ru(and everyone on it) and many more who make research and Identification easy for me. I try to provide appropriate catalogue numbers for all my items. Krause and Mishler(KM) numbers are a great reference for World Coins, if you "Google" a Krause number, NGC i.e. www.ngccoin.com provides a free market value estimate of the item depending on the grade of the item(s).

Payments:

I accept all methods of payment allowed by eBay, which includes PayPal Payments, Major Credit Cards and eChecks through PayPal etc. I also accept Personal Checks, Certified and Cashier's Checks, if you pay using that method, I will NOT ship your item(s) until the funds clear to my Bank Account.

Payments need to be made within 3 calendar days of the Auction’s end. If I don’t receive a payment or a response within 5 calendar days, your ID will be blocked. At that point, I will either relist the item or run a Second Chance offer to the next highest bidder.

If you’re interested in buying multiple items and wish to use my Combined Shipping Discount, please notify me ahead of time. You will be allowed a Maximum of 14 calendar days, from your first purchase to pay your invoice for multiple items.

Don’t get offended if the Unpaid Item Assistant automatically opens a "Payment not received" case against you during that time period. That is just the way that system works.

Packaging:

I package all my items with extreme care. You would too if your reputation was at stake. Coins and Medals are individually placed inside non-PVC Coin Flips, the kind that NGC and PCGS recommend when sending for Grading. Sometime for more fragile issues i.e. some Islamic Silver/Gold and almost all Sasanian but Copper I ship them in appropriate sized Individual Coin Holders which alone cost $0.80-$1.50/pc depending on the size, to prevent damage. I then place them inside 2 sheets of semi-thick cardboard. In order to make sure that no item ever gets a chance to "escape", get bent or otherwise gets damaged in transit, I further tape along the edges before I place them into 5"x8" Bubble wrap Envelope(also known as a Jiffy Bag in Europe and UK) or a USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Box.

Shipping:

Combined Shipping:

Domestic or International, I add $0.75 for every additional item included in the same package. Decent Flips and good shipping supplies are not Free to me.

Domestic Shipping:

United States Addressees are the easiest for me to ship to. The reason being that the shipping fees are fixed and relatively inexpensive. The majority of the time I use USPS First Class Mail, with charge of $3.37(first item) + $0.75(for every additional item included in the same package). If your invoice is more than $200 I will Insure it, the additional charge will be "on the house". Tracking will be provided promptly.

As it has happened to me in the past, sometimes the USPS First Class packages get lost for a little while. But are found within 24 hours of starting a USPS Official Inquiry. I track all my items, if a package doesn’t arrive on the estimated delivery date, I start an inquiry with USPS myself. The official inquiry can not be opened before the estimated delivery date. Don’t open "item not received" case, because sometimes packages get transported via different routes.

USPS Priority Mail is sometimes a better option because you get your items within 3 days, and it also comes with its own tracking and insurance, even if it is only $50. Costs $5.95(first item) + $0.75(per every additional item included in the same package).

International Shipping:

This is where shipping gets tricky, since I ship Worldwide.

Shipping to all USPS DELCON Countries is $10(first item) + $0.75(per every additional item included in the same package).

USPS provides Free Tracking/Delivery Confirmation Service to the following countries.

Australia

Belgium

Canada

Croatia

Estonia

Finland

Germany

Great Britain and Northern Ireland

Hungary

Israel

Latvia

Lithuania

Malaysia

Malta

Netherlands

New Zealand

Singapore

Spain

Switzerland

For all other countries, the buyer has to pay $20(first item) + $0.75(per every additional item included in the same package) for USPS First Class Registered Mail. Registered Mail is the only way for me to track your item(s) once they are out of the United States. And yes, it is expensive but is reliable. Not only are your item(s) transported in a locked box, they are also kept locked separate from other mail within the Post Office, this also requires specific packaging and more paperwork.

Previously I would not ship to India, Italy, Brazil, and France. But with some successful recent experience history, I have no problem shipping to any Country. It is true that some dishonest and unsroupulous people raise problems for honest folks. But I feel it is unfair to discriminate by not providing service to members in any of those countries, some of whom are world-renowned collectors.

Shipping Price, Customs and Duties are Buyer’s responsibility.

Tracking:

It is provided as I ship the item(s). Usually the same business day, or the next.

Feedback and Returns:

I will leave Positive feedback as soon as an invoice is shown as "Paid". I expect for you to do the same when you get the item. If you are not satisfied with your item and/or service. Please inform me immediately.

My eBay return policy requires you to contact me within 14 days of receiving the item, if you’re not happy with the purchase.

When returning the item, with prior approval, please make sure that the return is trackable so both parties know where the item is.

I provide great service to the Numismatic and Militaria Collecting community, but the majority of my business also comes from Dealers. My reputation is what matters most to me. If you think, that you, the buyer have been wronged or mislead in any way, shape or form. Please contact me with your issues. I will be happy to discuss the matter with you and, with my approval, you may return the item for a full refund.

DO NOT leave Inappropriate Feedback or Ratings because I believe in a solid Business Ethic, and I assure you that it is my goal to have each customer be happy with every transaction they make with me.

Feedback Extortion:

It has happened to me a couple of times in the past. Believe me, is not a nice thing as a seller to go through. Every time it has happened to me the eBay Customer Service was very helpful. If you have a problem with the item or the service, all you have to do is inform me and I will do everything to resolve the problem. So, any case of Feedback extortion will be reported straight away and the bidder ID will be blocked permanently.

Refunds:

You’ll be issued a refund the same day I get the item back if you paid with PayPal. If you paid using another method I will send a Check to your address.

Thank you for your interest in my Listing.
