Here is some of it's history....Louis Vuitton licensed and collaborated with French Company of California, a luxury luggage manufacturer, to craft LV pieces in order to keep up with high demand in the United States! Time frame was back in the 1970's through the early 1990's. As you can guess, due to the limited production time....they are very rare to find and when found.....treasured! Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus...as well as other luxury luggage boutiques...like Myers, carried pieces specially crafted for the USA market during this time period - Lucky US!!!! Authentic as always - know these pieces wear no date code. If you like research, there is quite a bit of information online that describes these rare pieces. Caroldiva.com or any online site will happily authenticate for you if you like. This little cutie presents wonderfully! Measures 6.5 x 3.5" approx. Kisslock functions great...now more silver in tone. Inside is clean - smell free! Lined in brown velvet textile. A tad of wear near the top frame - pictured. Split compartment inside. Will hold smaller scale glasses. Iconic Monogram is in nice shape too. A bit of wear at the bottom corners - minimal - not objectionable at all. Stitching tight. Everyone LOVES THESE! So adorable!
