Elite ANTI-RUST Coating

All Max Elite Series Rotors are finished with a premium Black Anti-Rust Coating. This coating provides oxidation protection which prevents rust and corrosion build ups on the hub areas and internal vanes of the rotors. The Elite Black Coating is the highest level of surface protection we offer, it is more durable than traditional zinc plating process and is less likely to lift and flake after installation.

 

Please note that the black coating around the braking areas of the rotor will eventually wear off after use. This is intentional and unavoidable. However, the hat, vents and other parts of the rotor where the pads do not come into contact will remain coated. This makes the rounded slots and cross drilled holes more visible and provide a nice contrasting look.

Rounded Slots & Chamfered Cross Drilled Holes

Rounded Slots are designed to keep the face of brake pads free of dust and debris over time and increase braking power during wet driving conditions. It also causes less wear and tear to the brake pads compared to traditional diamond slots.

Chamfered Cross Drilled Holes are designed to allow more air flow thus improving heat dissipation during heavy braking. Countersunk Drilled Technology is used to maintain the rotors' structural integrity and reduces the chance of warping and cracking.


Mill Balanced, Double Disc Ground & Taper Free Finish

Mill Balanced provide for a smoother braking application and vibration reduction.

Double Disc Ground and Taper Free Finish improve rotor-pad break in and noise reduction.


Machined & Inspected to meet / exceed OEM Standards
