 Bronze Etruscan Warrior Samnite Belt 72 cm long 8 cm wide

Green/red patina and with very light encrustations

Made from four sheet bronze panels and two hooks riveted.

Restored only in one small area - as indicated below - see the pictures below

The Samnites (Paestum area) were one of the last tribes to submit to the Roman and ceased around 290 BC or thereabouts
