Fantastic Malachite sphere with stand from the Republic of the Congo, Africa. This 50mm sphere features swirling banded and orbicular patterns of vibrant natural gemstone Malachite with light to dark green color. Any natural open vugs in the material were filled during the carving process. Includes a wood tripod stand, handcarved from a single piece of wood. A beautiful sphere great for display, collection and study.
