1. Item Description and Bidding/ Shipping Cost and Policy/ Payment Instructions:
One (1) Matchbox Moko Lesney ERF Transport Truck 20 a3, dark red body, 8.5 x 18 metal wheels, dome/crimp axle ends, silver trim on grille, headlamps, and fuel tanks variation. Stannard catalogue code available upon request. This outstanding model is in very near mint (please see grading criteria below) code 1 condition. It was introduced in 1956 and was sold in this type and 6 other variations based upon body colour, wheel type, and trim placement and colour (Mack). It is approximately 57 mm in overall length. Please carefully examine the high definition photos for the fine, flawless code 1 virgin original paintwork. The metal wheels are in perfect working condition and show no wear. There are no casting or mechanical defects. This ERF Transport or Stake Truck will display as new. Additional photographs can be sent to your e-mail address and questions will be entertained up to 4 hours prior to auction end.
I make the free box which will be sent with the model. I use them to display my own collection which then allows me to carefully store my original boxes. They are constructed of correct weight tag board, square and functionally perfect, fresh and colourful, meticulously detailed inside and out. They are laser printed so they will be somewhat glossier than an original Lesney era box, which was printed with lithography. This box is intended for display and storage purposes with a genuine Lesney Products model only.
We always ship multiple purchases combined. If you are concerned about international shipping cost, ask us for an estimate of total shipping and we will promptly reply. Free shipping, if offered, is for U.S. customers only. We will, however, offer our international customers the very best rate available (ignore the eBay shipping calculator!) consistent with safe shipping practises. We use sturdy new packing materials whenever possible.

Please do not pay before you complete all of your purchases.
Please do not pay before we send you an invoice. After all items upon which you intend to bid have closed, you may ask for an invoice. For deliveries outside of the US, we will make sure that proper, lowest cost combined shipping is applied. For domestic deliveries, waiting for the invoice will ensure that all of the items you have won are captured and combined in one package.
2. Codes and Grading:
CODE 1 means no paintwork restoration or mechanical repair has been performed on the model based upon personal knowledge or careful inspection under magnification and UV light. CODE 3 means that we have carefully restored some paintwork imperfections and/or made a mechanical repair, for example, such as to straighten a bent axle. If we believe such repair or restoration was done by others, we will disclose our opinion in the listing.
Note: '+' or 'plus' indicates the upper range of the grade meaning better than average condition for a given grade.
FC = Fair condition, CODE 1, unrestored, offered as-is. Significant paintwork, applique, and/or mechanical flaws will exist which will be evident in the photos or disclosed if not visible. This grade is commonly known as 'well played with' and significant play wear will be evident. We normally will not sell such models individually unless recommended for parts or restoration or if the model is particularly rare. Some or all of the original complement of accessories may have gone missing.
GC = Good condition, CODE 1 unrestored, offered as-is. No significant flaws exist other than those connected with paintwork and/or appliques unless disclosed in the listing. This grade is commonly referred to as 'gently played with' and minor play wear will be evident. Some or all of the original complement of accessories may have gone missing.
VGC = Very good condition, CODE 1 or 3 (see description above). Significant but not extensive paintwork and/or applique imperfections exist, usually due, in our opinion, to improper storage, not necessarily play, and will be evident in the photos if unrestored. Alternatively, the model may have been carefully restored and/or competent mechanical repairs may have been done by us or others. Whenever we have performed or notice such restoration, we will disclose it in the listing. Accessories may be missing, which fact will also be noted in the listing.
EXC = Excellent, CODE 1 or 3 (see description above). Minor paintwork and/or applique imperfections may exist, usually due, in our opinion, to improper storage, not play, and will be evident in the photos if unrestored. Alternatively, the paintwork imperfections may have been carefully restored by us or others. Decals or other appliques may have been replaced with replicas. Whenever we have performed or notice such restoration(s), we will disclose them in the listing. For this grade, no mechanical problems exist, including windows, if applicable, and no such repairs have ever been performed, in our opinion. Minor wheel use may be evident. All original accessories are usually present for this grade. If not, what is missing or replaced with replica parts will be disclosed.
NM = Near Mint, CODE 1, restoration unnecessary. The paintwork is nearly perfect, clean, shiny and bright on all exterior surfaces (except for possibly the base, if painted). Original, virgin paintwork approaches 100% with the possible exception of any factory paint flaws or very minor storage (not impact) wear which will be disclosed in the listing if not evident in the photos. Negligible rolling use of the wheels may be present. The model is mechanically perfect. All original appliques and accessories are present.
VNM = Very near mint, CODE 1, restoration unnecessary. The paintwork is essentially as new. Original factory flaws will be noted in the listing if they exist. All original accessories are present.
M = Mint, CODE 1, restoration unnecessary. Original condition as from the factory, full stop. The model has not been handled by human hands since it left the factory. We may occasionally sell original pristine blister packed models but even these may have rubs. No other of our offerings will ever be graded M.

3. Shipping Caveats:

U.S. Buyers note that 5 models of the 1-75 series scale will safely fit into a Priority Mail Small Flat rate Box should you choose that service.

International Buyers:
will please ignore shipping calculator for multiple purchases as we will give you the absolute lowest rate available in a combined package consistent with safe international packaging practices for the class of post Buyer chooses. For certain high risk countries regarding postal security, a Registered Post fee will be added at Seller's option to the cost of International First Class postage. This cost is published at http://www.usps.com as are all U.S. Postal rates and services. Please inquire prior to bidding if you think you may be affected.

Shipping transit time: Our policy is to ship promptly. Sellers will make every effort to ship within 24 hours of receipt of a cleared payment but force majeure applies for circumstances beyond the Sellers control (e.g.; a postal strike, natural disaster, communications interruption, inclement weather, personal incapacitation, etc.). In any case, once it leaves our hands, Sellers have no control over transit time.

Note to international buyers: Postage from the U.S.A. has become expensive since the January, 2016 increase took effect. We will always offer more than one class of post. First Class International post is the least expensive option but generally cannot be insured or tracked once it leaves the U.S.A. Only proof of USPS acceptance of your parcel can be provided. First Class International deliveries may require up to 60 days to arrive. The international Buyer accepts risk of loss if First Class International is chosen UNLESS an additional fee for Registered Post is paid in addition to First Class International postage.

Priority Mail International or Express Mail International can be tracked and insured and is required for any purchase over US$ 100.00.

International estimated combined shipping rate is subject to inquiry prior to bidding based upon the gross parcel weight of the number of models anticipated to be won. Our shipping charges are reasonable and based strictly upon United States Postal Service class rates. We are not in the business of making a profit on shipping. If cost of shipping seems to be excessive, it is probably incorrect.

4. Terms and Conditions of Bid and Sale:

Every effort will be made to transact business in a mutually satisfactory and pleasant manner but, in order to avoid any misunderstanding, the following T & Cs apply, most of the language of which is required and approved by eBay:

Payment: If payment is not made immediately, the successful bidder must contact Sellers within 48 hours to let Sellers know when they may expect payment. For U.S. Bidders, eBay now stipulates that PayPal is the only payment method which may be referenced in this listing. Please contact me if you do not have a PayPal account. For International Bidders, only PayPal is accepted. In the absence of an agreement between the parties made within 48 hours after the first purchase, payment must be received within five (5) days of the auction end unless otherwise agreed or Sellers reserve the right to relist the item without notice.

eBay required disclaimer: It is understood that all images of items used in this listing are of original, genuine Lesney products. Only the model itself is being offered for sale in this listing unless expressly stated otherwise in the description. The Lesney Legacy box is a gratuity.
