Brown soft cover booklet/brochure with illustrated front cover. No date was found. Appears to be from the 1920's. Issued by the Passenger Department Representatives of the Rock Island Lines, El Paso & Southwestern System, and the Southern Pacific Company. Twenty pages.

The booklet/brochure entices the traveler to take a rail trip to California on the "Golden State Limited". Information on the services and amenities available on the train is augmented by terrific vintage photos. Contains equipment & car plans and a map of the Golden State Route. Original.

From Wikipedia: The Golden State was a named passenger train between Chicago and Los Angeles from 1902–1968 on the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad (“Rock Island”) and the Southern Pacific Company (SP) and predecessors. It was named for California, the “Golden State”.

Booklet/brochure is in good condition. Binding is tight. There is wear at the margins of both covers and the back cover is dirty. Tiny stains on a few interior pages. Otherwise, free of marks and creases. Shipping is free for domestic first class shipping with delivery tracking.
