1980's GLYCINE Vintage Mens Rolex
Datejust Style Watch - Stainless Steel & White Gold
Designed Like a Rolex Datejust - Beautiful
Condition - 1 Year Warranty
Glycine's version of the Datejust.
Today's
auction showcases this scarce and cool vintage Glycine watch.
It's resemblance to a Rolex Datejust
is difficult to miss: The case has the same style including its
fluted white gold bezel; the dial has a very similar design; and
it is powered by an automatic movement with quick-setting date.
Even the original bracelet is very suggestive of Rolex's.
At 34mm, its diameter is the size
of a Rolex Date watch and slightly smaller than a Datejust.
It is in beautiful condition.
This is the first such Glycine that
we've seen. A scarce watch designed to rival a Datejust for about
a third of the price.
Included with the purchase is a one-year
C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed
Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing
certificate.
Glycine:
Glycine's vintage years were the golden era for their watches,
highlighted by noteworthy pieces like the Airman and the company's
jeweled watches.
