This beautiful original antique Art Deco (1915-1935) Platinum and 18ct white gold ring has a finely crafted solitaire design,mounted with a simply stunning clear,brilliant ice white sparkling,4.8 mm round old cut Diamond; bezel and claws set in a light catching "open back" square shape Platinum setting.This brilliant sparkling natural mined Diamonds' Platinum setting measures 5 mm and 5 mm depth,and is presented between Platinum chenier shoulders; each artfully hand engraved with a glittering scrolling pattern.The interior of the substantial 2 mm wide 18ct white gold shank is crisply embossed with the Platinum and 18ct gold marks: "18CT PLAT".The weight measures 2.75 grams.The condition of this exceptionally fine antique ring is very good.There are no signs of damage or wear to the secure set near flawless Diamond, or to its Platinum setting.The beautiful engraving on the Platinum shoulders is still perfectly crisp.The only sign of age is a very slight thinning to the shank's base
