This cat brooch was part of Lea Stein original range. She named her pieces and this one is called Bacchus. The body is made with black polymer decorated with a silvery glitter checked mesh.
The brooch is in tip top condition with no faults or damage to report. The rear pin is marked Lea Stein Paris and confirms to those used in the original range.
Research reveals:
Stein worked in the textile fashion industry and developed an interest in plastic. She worked with her husband, chemist Fernand Steinberger, to develop a process of layering very thin sheets of cellulose acetate (or rhodoid) and laminating them to form a multi-coloured sandwich of plastic. This technique allowed Stein to insert different fabrics colours and textures into the plastic to form her unique art deco inspired designs.

Do you combine items for postage?
Absolutely YES!
Where possible we'll do our best to save you some $$$!
However, please note some items are just too big and some too fragile to be sent combined.
Can I pick up?
Short answer.... NO!
Long answer.....Co-ordinating pick ups is just too time consuming for the amount of buyers we have each week, plus we're too busy running around sourcing all the great stock for you! Rest assured our "packing elves" handle/pack all items with great care to ensure all items arrive as described.

How much is postage?

Why does the ebay app show FREE postage on most listings but my computer shows a postage fee?
Because ebay is still working on a MAJOR gliche in their sysytem!!
