5" Vanadinite crystals on matrix rock from Mibladen, Morocco. This new find of Vanadinite features clusters of complex Vanadinite crystals with slightly rounded crystal faces atop matrix rock, more complex than the usual hexagonal tabular crystals. These Vanadinite crystals also show a deeper red hued color than usual. Vanadinite is an uncommon mineral formed from the oxidation of lead ore deposits, a secondary mineral. A beautiful mineral specimen from Morocco.
