Es ensteht ein guter Funke & brennt (siehe Bilder).
Beschreibung & Besonderheiten:
Vintage WWII Zippo Lighter - Full Brown Leather Wrapped - Condition (see pictures) - Very Rare - Nice Piece
This lighter is extremely rare and hard to find in such original condition. This vintage shows signs of usage due to it's age but still looks great.
The gold leaf lines on both sides as well as the gold leaf Zippo name on the bottom are in perfect condition. Leather is also in excellent condition with no tears or damage.
Full leather zippo's were introduced in 1950. These leather crafted zippo's were wrapped in leather all around the case and decorated with gold foil.
Because the bottom of the lighters wasn't readable anymore zippo put the zippo logo in gold foil on the bottom of each leather lighter.
The full leather wrap zippo's were available in different types of leather and different colors. Because of the war in Korea zippo switched back to making it's lighters out of steel.
Instead of painting the lighters like in the second world war zippo's were chromed. These zippo's can be recognized by holding a magnet close to it.
If the magnet attracts the lighter the zippo is made from steel instead of brass. Also some of these older lighters can show signs of rust from unther the chrome.
This lighter is a non-magnetic brass case example from 1950. This is 100% original from the Zippo factory. Very Rare and beautiful piece.
Sturmfeuerzeug - Zippo-Einsatz/Inlay mit kompletter Leder ummantelter Hülle (ebenfalls "ZIPPO" gemarkt am Boden) - 1937-1950
Mit Blattgold Linien auf beiden Seiten sowie die Blattgold Beschriftung "ZIPPO" auf der Unterseite sind noch komplett vorhanden.

Durch die Patent Nummer kann das Alter bestimmt werden vom Zippo &
in diesem Fall wurde das Zippo zwischen 1937- Mitte 1950 hergestellt.
