Grouping from General Sheehan. The shirt has clutch back Brigadier General stars, 27th Armored patch, and is in good condition. Interesting;y it has another officer's last name in the collar. Comes with a bunch of random military school paperwork, newspaper articles, and military ball/dinner programs.

This belonged to Brigadier General William F. Sheehan. He enlisted in the Army National Guard (27th Division) in 1936, and rose from Private to First Sergeant in 1942. He attended OCS and rose to Major by 1945, earning a Silver Star for taking Metz and subsequently capturing a German General, and a Croix de Guerre for liberating two French POW Camps with 12 men at his disposal. He was the Regimental Operations officer in the 377th Infantry Regiment, 95th Division. He became a Brigadier General and assistant Division Commander of the 27th Armored Division in 1964, and was deployed to the Rochester Race Riots as the detail commander in 1964. He retired shortly after the 27th Armored was folded into the 50th Armored Division.
