This is a used SMC Pentax-6X7 Shift 75mm f/4.5 lens in great condition. It has the capability of correcting converging lines by making them perpendicular! The Shift 75mm f/4.5 features a full 360° barrel rotation enabling the lens to be shifted in any angle: horizontal, vertical or diagonal. With this feature you can correct perspectives or even create them. Plus the lens can be used as a standard 75mm wide angle lens without perspective control. It’s a versatile lens with a field of view similar to that of a 38mm lens on full frame digital or 35mm film cameras. Unlike most lenses however, the diaphragm is not automatic. It offers a Pre-Set function and manual stop-down metering.
Cosmetically the lens is well used. Not unusual for lenses of this type, it’s cosmetics reflect professional use. The glass is clear and clean though the rear element shows pinholes in the optical coating that won’t affect image quality. The front element has a light narrow scratch mark that will not affect image quality. The lens ships with original Pentax 6x7 front and rear lens caps.
