Besonderheit und Bemerkung
1912 wurde das Unternehmen in Grenchen in der Schweiz von Walter Vogt gegründet. 1926 wurde die erste selbstaufziehende Armbanduhr in Serienproduktion, die legendäre Harwood, präsentiert. Anlässlich des 25. Firmenjubiläums wurden die ersten Chronographen hergestellt. Seit 1994 haben FORTIS Uhren ihre Raumfahrttauglichkeit in mehreren Missionen auch außerhalb der Raumstation unter Beweis gestellt. Fortis ist offizieller Lieferant der russischen Astronauten auf der ISS. Die bekanntesten Modelle sind: Marinemaster, B-42, B-47 und Spacematic.

In 1912 the company was established by Walter Vogt in Grenchen, Switzerland. In 1926 the first self-winding wristwatch in serial production, the legendary Harwood, was presented. On the occasion of the 25th company anniversary, the first chronographs were produced. In 1954 Fortis began the production and wordwide distribution of automatic alarm clocks. Fortis is one of Swiss brands with a high technical know-how. 2001: The first experiment on board of the international space station ISS. Fortis tests the global synchronization of wristwatches from outer space.

If the watch has been tested for water resistance, detailed infomation about the time and pressure used in the test can be found on the enclosed protocol. Please refer to the enclosed information about water resistance and have a look at the test certificate. In case there is no infomation on any specified water resistance level, the watch has not been tested by us.
